About

Regular Breaks are an alternative rock band from Blackpool, UK, formed in 2025 by co-writers Bill Nessworthy and Antony Jones. Having written together in previous projects, the pair returned to making music after several years apart. Their distinct songwriting styles bring variety to the material, with individual ideas developing into new songs as Regular Breaks.

Joined by Ian Matthews on bass and Ross Vickery on drums, the band draws from a wide range of influences, from the melodic songwriting of Laura Veirs, Feist and Fleetwood Mac to the heavier, more expansive sounds of Queens of the Stone Age, Tool and The Mars Volta. Their music brings together intimate and reflective songwriting with elements of alternative rock and post-rock.

Regular Breaks released their debut single, ‘Nostos’, in May 2026. A song about rediscovering a lost passion, it proved a fitting choice to mark the beginning of the band’s recorded work.
